Yucky girl stuff - tmi?

So a fun side effect of this virus that Astin had is a yeast infection. Ick. I've never had one! Her dr gave a scrip for some cream. Does anyone know how long they last? Poor baby is miserable!

Re: Yucky girl stuff - tmi?

  • Poor baby. I get them at least three times a year, and it's hell. With my treatment they last about a week.
  • @Yez9‌ pedi said it normally shows in their stool, but occasionally it will come up this way and it's due to her weakened immune system from the rando virus. It looks painful, I hope it goes away soon!

  • Baby girl had this when she was a month old due to all the antibiotics they had both of us taking at the time. It took about 4 days for the cream to work. Poor thing, I felt so bad for her. Hopefully your LO is better soon. I don't think they feel it like we do.
  • Thrush is essentially a yeast infection and is very common in babies after being sick and whem breastfeeding. If you cloth diaper, bleach everything after every use.
