I'm a teacher looking for other opportunities. Pearson has a pt content development position I'm interested in at their MA office, about 3 hours from me. I'd like to apply and learn more about the position, but I'm not looking to relocate right now (might be interested in the future). They also have an office about 20 min from me. Would you ever apply for a position but if contacted for the interview let them know you'd be interested in the position if it could be done as WFH or in a different office? As a teacher I'm not very familiar with how the business world works.

I might apply for a position and put in my resume (objective) that I am seeking a telecommuter/work from home position. That way if they look at your resume they could see that and decide whether they want to interview you for the position. I just think it is a waste of everyone's time to apply for a position, interview, and then tell them you'll only take it if you can work from home.
Could you call their HR and inquire about the position?
