My DD is three weeks old. I feel like we've been stuck inside forever. My Husband has been working a lot but finally is taking a day off tomorrow & I want the 3 of us to get out of the house! Any ideas for outings with our still very little one?
Today we did the farmers market then lunch at a favorite local spot at 4 weeks. We also did dinner and a boat tour on the San Antonio River Walk with family at 10 days old in the evening, but I was a protective mama bear if anyone got near him so I look super worried in every picture.
Anywhere near ac is good if you're in a hot place. If you're not in a hot place, the world (or at least your city and surrounding areas) is your oyster.
We went to a restaurant with outdoor seating (right after I fed her, so we had a couple of hours). We've also brought her to a drive-in movie, which might've been the best idea ever...even if she cried, it only mattered to us, and I could nurse her whenever I needed to.
Do you live near a beach? DH and I are taking our LO for a walk on the boardwalk tomorrow.

We've been doing park lunches and coffee in outdoor seating area. The fresh air is good for both of us and it's low key enough I don't feel bad if we have to cut our outing short,
We've taken DD to breakfast, our parent's house for dinner, grocery store, the park so big bro could play, Kohls..etc. I've got to get out of the house or I'd lose my mind!
We have done the beach, boardwalk, grocery story, storybook land (an amusement park for kids for our 2 1/2 year old), the park, out to dinner, the mall.
I like the drive in movie idea. might have to do that!
We did the zoo. Zoos are kid friendly, stroller accessible, have open air, and our zoo had plenty of benches if you had to feed LO. Plus if a meltdown occurs it doesn't really bother anyone else. I thought about a drive-in movie, but I get nervous about disturbing our little guy's bedtime routine since he has a pretty good one down.

I have died every day waiting for you. Darling, don't be afraid, I have loved you for a thousand years. And all along I believed I would find you, time has brought your heart to me. I have loved you for a thousand years. I'll love you a thousand more.
