Is this a real question? Until TB I never realized that queen size beds were considered beneath some people (pun entirely intended. ) nothing against you op, I've seen it a lot.
If I was trying to figure out what to put in a guest room, I would do a queen bed. My parents have two guest rooms, both with twin beds and they regret it. I think they assumed they would have a lot of "uncoupled" guests so twins would be better, but that's not the case.
“When the first baby laughed for the first time, its laugh broke into a
thousand pieces, and they all went skipping about, and that was the
beginning of fairies.” - J.M. Barrie Peter Pan
I have died every day waiting for you. Darling, don't be afraid, I have loved you for a thousand years. And all along I believed I would find you, time has brought your heart to me. I have loved you for a thousand years. I'll love you a thousand more.
I prefer a queen. Plus if it's a dedicated guest room, I always feel like one with two twin beds looks like a dorm room.
But this is coming from the girl who has a friend coming to watch the kids overnight and can't offer that friend anything but sleeping on a twin mattress on the playroom floor because it's that or the couch since the kids.
"kids" is such a perfect excuse/reason for anything and everything. It requires no additional details.
"I had to tell DH to bring home beer because KIDS."
"I feel like I'm going crazy because KIDS."
"I'd offer you a cup of coffee and muffin but KIDS."

If someone is putting me up for a night I'll gladly sleep anywhere. Air mattress, twin bed, couch, whatever! I'm easy!
If I were setting up a guest room I would put a queen bed in. I assume most of the people using it would be adult guests and usually couples. And a single adult would still likely prefer a larger bed.
I think it all depends on how much space you've got in your house and if this is going to forever be a dedicated guest-room. If it is, then I'd opt for a full-size bed that way there'd be the option for something on the floor if they bring a kid/toddler...
As a guest, I would sleep on whatever was provided. Our guest room has a full size bed in it. We will probably switch it to a queen bed because I would feel bed offering such a small bed for a couple to sleep in. We never have guests, though, so it is not very high on the priority list. We also have a futon in the basement and several comfortable couches. I can't really think of a reason that we would want twin beds.
My mom has two twins in hers but thats because its ds and my nieces "room". And also she hosts the holidays and normally theres some random people who cant drive home after so that works for them.
I think a queen would be nive but I think it depends on the kind of guest you have sleeping over.
When I was a kid I had two twins thay were connected by the head board. I could separate them when I wanted too.
