Y'all really aren't all that bad!

I say this being kind of silly but meaning it, too!

I know many of you(or maybe the entire D14 board) have a rep for being meanies. Well guess what, I don't think y'all are so bad!

On a couple of the weight threads, I voiced a differing perspective and I was not called out or flamed once! My opinion was respected. Imagine that!!

I also didn't go in flaming anyone but again, voiced my opinion in a polite respectful way and it was NO BIG DEAL!!

It's just like in real life. You may not agree with everyone, you may have a different opinion but if you treat others how you want to be treated, an adult conversation can be had.

It's always shocking to me when people ask about this one. Of course it's a bad idea to put an unregulated drug into your body while you are pregnant. And to think, other women are worried about Tylenol and Tums... smh

Yea this kinda thing is just stupid- not to mention a lot of states drug test....so yea, even if you're a fan of "the pot" and don't think it will do anything to your baby, still lay off. If you can't go 9 months without smoking then you have a problem.

One of the big arguments is that THC is not addictive so taking a 9 month break shouldn't be so difficult. Plus I love her reaction to all the hell no's, "I was just asking because other people do it and I don't and stop being so mean!!"

Well, a much simpler response to the OP's question would have been:

On average, primiparas deliver at 41w1d, or 274 days from the time of ovulation. For multiparas, it's 269, which comes out to around 40w3d. The problem is that we got all the crazies banned way early in the first tri. And the D14 refugees ratted us out to everyone else... So basically, we have the rep of the school whore, but haven't even gotten to second base since may. Sad times.

I think our board is way tame nowadays. I'm proud of how gracefully and kindly we handle situations but I do miss the violent page flipping drama at the same time...
