Any Dinner Ideas? Nothing sounds good....

Do you have any easy, healthy dinner ideas? I am having a hard time finding food that I actually want to eat. Nothing sounds good, and when I want to eat, it isn't something healthy. So basically, I'm having food adversions to basically everything except fast food. ;-P

Re: Any Dinner Ideas? Nothing sounds good....

  • I'm no help. I've been eating terrible things. I need to stop. Ugh... my one healthy craving is Nektar Pitaya bowls, and tomato mozzarella salad. mmmmmm

  • Lettuce, tomato, red onion, shredded cheese, chicken wraps perhaps?

  • BLT's and corn on the cob for dinner here. I'm pretty excited.
  • The only thing that ever really sounds good to me that is healthy is a steak bowl from Chipotle with guac. Everything else could sound great one minute and awful the next.

  • Hubby is making salmon and Couscous. Not sure what sure what else we are having but I can tell you that there isn't a single vegetable that doesn't make me gag.

  • I made a big batch of chicken noodle soup and chili... I always want to stop at fast food on my way home from work since I am starving, but knowing I have something I can heat up quick stops me from eating out.
  • Carbs & cheese are the only two things that consistently sound good to me right now. I'm a little concerned that it will be hard to go back to eating healthy food once the nausea goes away. But there's not really anything I can do until then. If a salad makes me gag but a baked potato covered in cheese sounds fabulous, I have no problem just eating the potato.

  • I'm having the same issue! If I don't eat what I'm craving, then everything else makes me want to puke
  • Keeping it simple with spaghetti and garlic bread. I like to fix things that DD can eat with fingers. I might fix some blondie brownies with vanilla ice cream for dessert.

  • I'm making spaghetti & hoping it'll go down. "Healthy" (ish) things I have been able to stomach include cottage cheese, black beans, and blueberries. Thought I'd share in case you want to try one of those!!
  • We had this and it was awesome!

  • I've been keeping healthy choice soups on hand for when nothing sounds good. I get my veggies, my protein, and don't puke while making or eating it.
  • The only thing I can get down in the evening for dinner is Tim Hortons chicken noodle soup with a plain bagel toasted with butter to dip.
  • I needed turkey and gravy... Boston market was not so bad. Loved the creamed spinach!!! My boys at the baseball game so got to enjoy it on the couch in front of the tv :) had moose tracks ice cream bar after that :) what???? I took my vitamins! lol
  • I'm sharing the carbs and cheese boat with BabiesEverywhere! Pasta, bread, and low fat cheese. I bought the pasta that has veggies in it, in hopes that I'll get some sort of nutrients.
