Yes, it's way early. But we have started talking about names because it's fun! Well, it was supposed to be fun anyways. With DS we had the name before I was even pregnant. No muss no fuss. Now we kind of have a boy name. If this poor child is a girl though, she may have no name! Haha. We cannot agree on a name to save our lives! My favorite name is Vivienne. I love love love it and really can't wrap my mind around anything else. DH loves Grace. Now, I do love the name as well, my Grandmother was Grace and she was simply amazing and has a strong presence in our family all these years after her death. But I just don't feel like that is our daughters name(if we even have one)... Is that weird? Anyway, we can't agree and I get so frustrated that we can only talk about it for a few minutes without going around in circles. Anyone else having trouble?
Re: Baby #2 will have no name
So if this baby is a boy he will be nameless too.
I really like Vivienne Grace. If I have a girl this go round Grace will be a part of her name.

Point is, you still have a while and DH (or you) may come around and be able to agree on a name or at least compromise with a first/middle combination.
Good luck!

You have tons of time to decide on a name, and the names that you each like could change in the time between now and when you deliver. I would suggest putting the conversation aside for now. Are you guys team green or finding out? If you're finding out, wait until you have for anatomy scan to talk about it again. That way, if you're having a boy, you don't spend time and energy arguing about girls names.
With DS1, DH and I each made a list of a few names and compared lists. It turned out we had a common name on the list and that made the decision easier once we looked at it like that. I think that this time, it looks like we actually may have a name for each sex. We will be finding out the sex at our anatomy scan and will talk more seriously about it once that point comes.
FWIW, I think Vivienne Grace is a beautiful name

We decided DD#2 name when I was about 36 weeks...so we've got time!
You'll figure something out. I think you technically even have 5 days after baby is born before you have to turn in the birth certificate form.
