@leopardgurl831 I'm gonna give you the benefit of doubt and assume that you are within eyeshot and/or earshot of the car. And that you live in the country. Otherwise Idk that this is safe.
I use my pumping time to bump. I think I may need to pump FOREVER!!!
I just thought of a better one! I leave LM sleeping the the car in the driveway. I either leave the car on, or windows open. Yesterday he slept for almost 2 hours in the car while I cleaned the barn and groomed the horses!
Maybe I'm in the minority with this but I would never leave my kid in the car like this, windows open air on whatever. It seems so unsafe to me.
my name ain't Katie, but seriously... How many news stories (and the ones that don't make the news) do there need to be before people will stop leaving their babies/kids in cars? It's infuriating. I don't care if you're within earshot, eyesight, in the country or in the city. Just don't do it.
We live in the country. It was 70 yesterday and the car was running with air on. When I am working in the barn plug in the monitor in to the car and park the truck right in front of the barn with barn doors open. I knew the second he woke up and strapped him in my Tula to finish.
You leave a truck running for 2 hours?!? Safety aside, have you heard of global warming?
Some of you may not want to be my friend after this one.
I hate shoes. The other day while packing I donated/threw out all of my shoes except 2 pairs of sneakers, 3 pairs of flip flips, and I pair of ballet flats. This is forcing me to buy shoes to wear to work in 10 days. DH told me to spend money and buy good ones. This would excite most people. Not me.

I hate "shoes" too. Sandals on the other hand, I probably have 20 pair. I have 1 pair of work shoes, 1 pair of tennis shoes, and 2 pair of flats, 1 pair of black heels.
---I'm 5'10, I love to look at heels but I hate weAring them, I feel like I look like a man. On the rare occasion I wear heels I borrow them from a friend or buy a pair and give them away.
I get to go out tomorrow with a friend to do some shopping and lunch.. Then DH and I have a date night planned... It'll be a good 6 hours away from LO, but I am looking forward to having a day to myself... Now if I could only get a glass of wine and a bath in there somewhere...

Yea we love in the country and do this all the time. Park in the shade and either open the doors or leave the air on and a door open so I can hear him and clean the patio, mess when the goats, unload hay, whatever needs done. No harm as long as I'm in ear and eye sight.
I thought of another one.
A few nights ago I fed M and put her to bed like always. About two hours later she started whining and fussing a little. She fed really well before I put her down and I knew it was too soon for her to be hungry again. We are working on trying to get her to put herself back to sleep on her own when she has these little wake ups and she has been getting a lot better with them, so I didn't rush in there right away. It really seemed like she was going to roll over and go back to sleep. So we waited and watched her on the monitor. After about 10-15 minutes of whining she started to get really upset and cry hard, at which point I knew she was going to need help going back to sleep.
I went in her room and immediately smelled it. She had vomited everywhere. She and her pjs and sleep sack were soaking wet, her sheet was soaking wet, it was in her hair, she was rubbing it in her eyes, and she was screaming by this point. I felt TERRIBLE. I called for DH to help me and he took care of changing the sheet and cleaning the crib while I got her cleaned up and in fresh pjs. Her poor little eyes were so red from her rubbing vomit in them.
It was pitiful and I felt like the worst mom ever. We just couldn't see the puke on the monitor. After we got her cleaned up I rocked her for awhile and she was so tired she just went right back to sleep.
We had a similar situation this morning with a poopy diaper.. He was just talking to himself so I didn't do anything... DH went in to lay him down and apparently didn't smell anything which boggles my mind... We got him all cleaned up then DH got him back to sleep while I went to the gym.
@ggandlee Don't be upset about it, you couldn't have known.
When I was taking A to the pedi for HFM he was in the backseat fussing. I offered him a bottle and sang to him but he kept whimpering. I thought it was just because he was uncomfortable and hot from being sick so I pressed on towards the doctor's office. When I went around to get him he was covered in poop, and he had even gotten some in his mouth.
Pre-baby, whenever I was stressed/anxious/mad, I would go to the gym or go for a run. Now? I definitely find myself doing less of those things and doing more stress/anxiety/anger eating.
We had Phia's 9 month appt today...during which we also discovered she has HFM. I'm angry because we just got back from vacation with my family...where my bro's son was "just getting over it" and "shouldn't be contagious anymore." Mind you, HE never told me his son had it until we were AT the beach. I knew because my mom told me the night before we left.
I know it's not his fault or his son's...but DUDE. Have the decency to tell your sister with an infant what's up and don't be shady as fuck about it.
So yeah...my FFFC/Dear Diary is that I'm stress eating and turning to it more and more these days.
I just realized I can bump from work. I've been a member of this board since near the start of my pregnancy.
This is the best and worst find of the century.
Can't figure out the signature thing, so here's the short, short version.....first daughter born on November 10, 2013. She was conceived through the magic of IVF after 2+ years of TTC.
I lost my CC no less than 3 times in the last few weeks. Well, misplaced it actually. Turns out that wasn't so bad because I wasn't able to buy anything for almost half the month.
