Since we all (or almost all) agreed the other day that pregnancy is hard, I thought we could do an inspirational kind of thread where we share some pics, gifs, or stories that give us some motivation to keep fighting through this.

Fight through it for moments like this holding your beautiful newborn in the hospital:

The beautiful moments like watching them reach new milestones, hearing them laugh, goodnight kisses, tight hugs, hearing them say "I love you mommy." The kids say the darndest thing moments. It's all worth it.

I think I am actually looking more forward ro watching dh meet his baby girl for the first time and the grandparents meeting her too then I actually am about anything else. I am very excited dont get me wrong, but I am looking so forward to giving my husband a gift that is so personal. I am just so incredibly head over heels for her Daddy that I can't wait to see his reaction.

As simple as this is, I look around me. There's so much in the universe that has had to fight or adapt to survive. Nature, man, etc. Life is beautiful in all forms.

I also look at my MIL, battling a rare cancer and who has been through a hellacious ringer of radiation, chemo after chemo after chemo, having one of her arms amputated and has managed to continue to survive while still dealing with the unknowns and trying trial chemos.

Yesterday the girls and I were driving home; we have a 15 minute commute and my almost 2 year olds aren't the best car-riders, so I had my iTunes radio on "Raffi Radio", We were jamming to songs like "B-I-N-G-O" and "Baby Beluga," then this song comes on, called You and Me. The lyrics go "how did you grow so big overnight? How did you get so smart and bright? Yesterday you were asleep in my arms, today you're growing off the charts." Holy crap. I was a sobbing mess!!!

It's such a strange feeling--knowing I'm going to be a mommy again. We thought our twins would be our only children. The song had me in tears because my little girls are growing up...and happy tears knowing in a couple months I get to do it all over again with their baby sister! I'm so grateful to be their mommy. It was only several years ago that I really thought we would never be parents to our own biological children when we were in the throws of our infertility journey. God is so good. Just typing this make me get choked up.

Pregnancy has made my already strong bond with my mom even stronger, and i hope motherhood will encourage it. I now understand what mothers do and feel for their children, and it makes me tear up. I don't think we really understand until it's our turn! I am so looking forward to my mom teaching me things and our relationship growing

along with meeting my LO of course! all the barf and lack of poop will be worth it. I'm especially happy because we haven't heard from my siblings in ages, so my mom hasn't seen her grandchildren in years. I'll be able to keep her involved in Eliana's life

Favorite part of pregnancy by far (And I take full advantage) The ability to fall asleep in like, 5 seconds flat. I take a nap now when I get home from work and even though it's usually only around 30 min I feel soo rejuvenated. I'll wake up w/ drool all over the pillow and look at my hubby and say, I didn't even fall asleep! And he will confirm that I was snoring like a mad man. The naps are glorious.

Also I had honestly given up on being a mom. When my ex told me he didn't ever want kids, I thought that was it for me. So I spent a long time resigning myself to that fact that I would just be the really cool Aunt. When I finally grew strong enough to ask for a divorce, I just figured it was too late for me, by the time I met someone and settled down, I would be past the point of no return. Then DH came into my life, swept me off my feet, and here we are. I feel so incredibly blessed to be bringing a child into the world with him. I am the luckiest woman alive.

Aw this is just the sweetest thing ever.

I feel very much the same about my DH. He is going to make the most incredible daddy. I can't help but smile real big when I think about it. He is absolutely wonderful with babies too. I am just really really blessed to be able to parent with him

I'm with you ladies, I think my DH is going to be the most amazing Dad ever. One of the things that made me fall head over heels in love with him was seeing him with his nieces and nephews, how endlessly patient he is with them, how he plays with them like he is a kid himself. My first husband also said he never wanted kids and when I left him I knew I was looking for the father of my children. I searched all over to find this LO's daddy and I'm so happy we're going on this fantastic journey of parenthood together

I love this. My mother passed a few weeks after we started trying to get pregnant (we were able to tell her we were trying and she was so happy). I have really been cherishing the glimpses into a part of her I have never been able to enjoy before--being a mother. I am so excited to connect with her in new ways as my little one grows.

I CANNOT wait to meet this LO...every ache, pain, and complaint pales in comparison to that moment when you are handed your child. I also have to say that I bawled like a baby when Kyan came to the hospital to meet his new brother. He looked so much older in that moment and I was SO emotional.
