pelvic pain

Im having some pretty sharp pains in my pelvis. I CAN walk but very slowly and it hurts. I don't really think braxton hicks contractions are happening at the same time. Anyone else experiencing this? Not sure what it could be especially since I don't think I am having contractions simultaniously.

    I have had something similar, pain in what feels like the joints between my legs, pubic bone, tail bone, basically all of my pelvis. Its been going on for several weeks and on bad days it really is hard to even walk. The doctor diagnosed it as PGP pelvic girdle pain. Not fun. Sorry you are in pain!

    Do you still put pants on standing up? I did so the other day and felt like my baby was going to drop right out. Ouch!

    Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction, or pelvic girdle pain, both can occur in pregnancy. I have pelvic pain as well, it sucks! You can try a maternity support belt (probably will cost around $30-$40) to relieve some of the pressure. I find it makes life more manageable, even for simple chores.

    I have it too! Just means baby is settling in head down into your pelvis. My baby is really low too so I get extra pain....blah
     Christian Homeschooling Mama to 9 kids and Grandma to 1 (so far!) YES we would love to have more!

    Haha. DH has been helping me with this lately. especially getting my belly band on.

    I've been getting this, but it's short-lived and hurts like hell. It feels like I'm tearing internally.

    Thankfully it passes,but it worries me.

    Bring it up at your next appointment

    The side stitch that I used to feel while walking is now below the belly. That's unpleasant.

    Like your whole pelvis is trying to break in half? Yeah...its great. I can't sit for too long or I feel like I wanna cry when I eventually get up...

    I feel like I was attempting the splits and failed. I think it's pretty normal.

    Yep! My doctor said it is likely ligaments loosening up in prep for the big day and is normal. Good luck ladies!!

    Same here! I can feel my bones cracking when I get up from sitting down and getting out of the car is a b****! Between the rib pain and this pelvic pain, I feel totally lied to about how pregancy was going to be sunshine, rainbows, and really great food lol

    Yes, my baby is head down, very low and measuring ahead . All of these make it painful down there. Sometimes it feels like he's ramming his head into my cervix repeatedly :).

    This happened to me last down, I told DH it felt like she was burrowing her head down into my pelvis. I feel like my bump looks lower too (I was carrying very high), but pain has subsided slightly.
