The same week my DD turned 1 we switched her to a new daycare and also introduced her to WCM. Since turning 1/starting new daycare she decided she doesn't want to drink any liquids from a bottle or cup. She will take 1 or 2 small sips every few hours. She used to drink three 6oz breastmilk bottles at her old daycare and water from a sippy cup. When she started the new daycare she just stopped. I don't know if it's just because she's so busy playing or practicing her new skill of walking. We offer her WCM and water, sometimes breastmilk too. I've tried different cups and I've also tried heating the milk. She just doesn't seem interested. However she loves nursing. While I'm not ready to give up nursing completely right now I would like to start weaning her so she's not so dependent on me nursing her all the time. Right now I nurse her in the morning, before bed, and 2x during the night and I pump twice at work just to keep my supply up even though she won't drink any of the milk i pump. She is eating more solids than before and is a healthy weight and I'm not worried about her not taking in enough liquids. Any advise/tips on how to get her to drink from a cup again and get her to wean? Thanks!
