When I tried to explain to E that I was coming back to work, she looked at me very seriously and said "No. Daddy work." (Funny, but cue tears!)

I was singing along to A Whole New World while watching Aladdin with E. She looked at me like I had grown a third head and said "No Mommy, you shhhh." Any time I tried to sing after that, she flat out said "stop!" Perhaps I don't have the greatest singing voice.

Oh, one more. I've been letting E help me unpack my things after work because she's in a huge "I do it" phase. She pulled my pump parts out of my bag, and pulled up her shirt and put it on her belly button and said "I do it." She tried to pump her belly button y'all.

We taught Hannah hot, and how to blow on her food to cool it down. The other day hubby was cooking something in the oven Hannah goes up to the stove says "hot" and blows on it. I say she's got that concept down.

Cute @Robeano! We taught E hot really early on because she once very nearly poured my entire cup of hot coffee on herself. She now carries around her toy teacup and warns everyone (dogs, cats, dolls, etc.) that it is hot and to be careful. Although she also insists that cold things are hot, and she blows on them too. Haha. Close enough I guess.

E starts Transitional Kinder in a couple of weeks and so we've been talking to her about how she has to try to keep her gas in. She's 4 so it always slips out. So we said to her that she will be at school and will need to try to hold it and she sighs really loud and gets this sad face and says, "I know but it's just so hard." Hahaha

We went to Wildlife Conservation Day at a nature refuge near our house last weekend, and V wanted to watch the retriever dog demonstrations. He quickly befriended one of the dog owners, and was asking the man something about his dog's tail. The man said to Vin "That's his tail. Do you have a tail, Vin?" And Vin said "No sir. I have a butt." Good job honey :-)

@TJ1979‌, I only thought of it because I'm a teacher who is exposed to the noxious fumes all day! We also told her not to tell stories about mommy and daddy and no poop stories. I don't know how or why but she is fascinated by her toilet successes!

I always tell parents at school that if they promise to believe half of what their kids come home and say, I promise to only believe half of what they say to me at school. I hear some pretty interesting things
