Implantation and BFP timing

I'm new to this and I'm sure that this question has been answered a million times. But sometimes I feel overwhelmed searching through the pages. I'm 36 and we have been TTC for two years (this last year we've been treated by a RE). This cycle has been my most promising by far. I was clomid resistant and have PCOS. This cycle we tried femara (cd 3-7) and I had an HSG on cd10 (all clear). On cd 15 I had a 19 and 13 mm follicle. My RE had me use ovidrel that night. I had some spotting on cd29 which I thought was the beginning of my period but have had nothing since. I tested this morning (cd31) and it was negative. I guess I'm just hoping that I should still have some hope. I'm about 14dpo... anyone get a bfp this late?

This is what is posted in the newbie blog (on TTGP). You aren't completely out till your period shows but your chances aren't great. As for me, the only BFP I ever got was at 11dpo. Good luck!

Well, it could happen. I would re-test in 2 days if you don't get AF.

My sister did. She tested like 5 times after 14DPO, and was all negative. Her 6th test at 19DPO was positive. Their assumption is the egg just implanted late.

How long after your ovidrel are you supposed to ovulate? If 24-48 hours you might not be 14dpo. I would test again every other day until + or af. Best wishes!

Thanks for all the replies. I really do appreciate the positive thoughts. I tested this morning and I maybe see a faint positive (or I'm making that line up!) I'll keep testing and we'll see. I would assume either a positive test or af will happen soon.
