What's your best answer when people ask you about when or if you are going to give LO a sibling...or your reply when it's even phrased as a question. "Don't you think it's about time you gave _______ a little brother or sister."

When I am asked if I want more children, I say "There's nothing I want more in the world"

Also when I get asked at church I've said "I guess whenever God sees fit" That shuts em up.

Totally depends on my mood. Sometimes I say hopefully soon, or we'd love to and leave it at that, but sometimes I'm feeling saucy and I tell the truth. It makes them uncomfortable, but they've made me uncomfortable (even if unintentionally).

Most people IRL know our loss history so no one asks. When strangers ask I have no problem telling them when my babies stop dying. It's such a personal question and no one seems to realize that unless they've had experience with infertility or loss.

I agree with you @ellebelle2384‌. I never knew how upsetting if a question it could be. I usually deflect and change the subject. Or....get pissed and cry.

We always get the "When are you going to try for a boy" but. My normal response is we will see, not sure if there will be a 3rd or there would be no guarantee its a boy even if we try.

I used to give a "hopefully soon" kind of answer but I'm guessing no one who knows me is going to be asking anytime soon since everyone knows about Layla. I don't really get the question from strangers. Perhaps because I'm not big on making chit chat with strangers.

I usually just say, "hopefully one day" or "eventually". I've never had to say more than that.

If I were pushed i'd probably say something like "whenever God wants to give us another baby, we're ready and willing!".

No? Oh.

Thankfully I haven't been asked this in a while. The people close enough to me to have somewhat of a right to ask know about our situation and wouldn't ask. If a stranger asked, I'd probably try to make them a little uncomfortable. I think it's such a rude question.
