On Provera... then Clomid

I have a question, I know you guys are not doctors. I already left a message for my doctor so hopefully I will get an answer tomorrow.

Just wanted to know what other people went through.

I am on my 4th of 7 days of Provera. They said my period would come after I was done with Provera and then I should start Clomid days 6th-10th. But my period came today. Do I continue with the Provera? When do I start counting as day 1 of my period??

Good question!! It's more than spotting, but not full bleeding... I guess I will give it a little more time

The Provera should be completed before you take the clomid. Thats what I did .But I would call your doc in the morning to make sure.

Ditto PP ... this is a child-free haven for women struggling with infertility, so you need to add a warning to the title at least.

Sorry, no experience with Provera, but I'm sure the office will be able to give you good advice. And I'm sure it wouldn't be the first time a patient was trying to describe exactly what their bleeding looks like over the phone...Lol.

I did the same thing this month. AF started on day 6 of provera. My doctor told me I could stop taking it then and I started clomid day 3. But they also said it was fine that I had continued taking it for 2 days while I was bleeding (started in Saturday morning and took it Saturday and Sunday before calling Monday morning). Idk if that helps any but good luck this cycle!
