Over Excited BFF

So I woke up this morning with a bazillion texts from my best friend asking about finding out gender, and baby shower, and stuff I don't want to get overly excited or start planning for right now. She kept telling me that I need to get excited like she is and I basically had to go off on her via text to let her know she doesn't understand and I can't stay excited. I am excited but its hard to stay excited all the time right now. I don't want to plan big things in the future

    Thanks ladies. She's still being persistent but I'm mostly ignoring it. My step-mom wants to go ahead and schedule my 3D ultrasound at 15 weeks to get gender and that's okay but I'm still not sure about party planning right now.

    I completely understand! Only about 6 ppl in real life know I am pg like my employer for practical purposes. Not even my mom knows! I get anxious when people are "so excited". It makes me feel like I am under pressure. I am hopeful but calm. I do things "as needed". For example I have been uncomfortable sleeping so DH bought me a full body pillow (snoogle) and I have some preggie pops...that's it (besides prenatals) DH keeps talking announcement ideas and it practically makes me run!!!

    Mine is like the opposite. I'm looking at cute baby things but not overly getting attached to anything and he's kind of ignoring it. Occasionally he slips making a comment about my pregnancy, funny things and we'll talk about it but I think he's trying not to get over excited either. I'm pretty much out to everyone in RL because people can't keep secrets but not out to the world yet. Over-excited people make me anxious too.
