Potty Training Experiences?

To my surprise, daycare took me aside to say they think DD may be ready to start potty training.  She is taking off her diapers when she soils them, telling people she has pooped, etc.  I've noticed this at home too...just wasn't expecting it to happen quite yet.  She is super into the book "Everyone Poops" and I think it has had a big effect on her.

So, moms who have done this before.  What are your methods?  Books to recommended?  What's worked, what hasn't worked?  Help, I'm clueless!!!!

    @PrivacyWanted - what exactly are trainers?  Did you CD the whole time, or did you switch to CD trainers when she was ready?  Is there a non-CD equivalent.

    Your reply sounds so simple, but I still feel like I should read a book :).  Is that overthinking?
