From a January baby to a December baby....

Hi all! Last week was my 20 week u/s and my original due date of January 1, 2015, got pushed up to December 25, 2014. This is my second pregnancy and during my first one, the due date didn't change once! I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this with past pregnancies? Thanks!

Thank you! My regular doctor kept coming up with January 1st as a due date, but on the ultrasound screen, the tech pointed out the 12-25 date instead. Ho ho ho!

My EDD was changed from 12/24 to 12/16. They said originally it was configured from my last menstrual date, but upon u/s it was moved up a week.

I just had my 20 week anatomy and I was due Jan 1st and they moved me up to Dec 29th!!! Congrats to you!

With DD2 in 2008, my EDD based on LMP was June 22, but I know I ovulated late. When I went in for my "8 week" u/s, she was only measuring 6w3d. They moved my EDD to July 5 based on that u/s. We wound up inducing on June 25 because of GD, so she almost hit her first EDD anyway.

My edd was set for 12/16/14 too but when I had my 20wk, I was told it was the 17th. I looked at my us tech and said really? You're going to change my dd by one day! Haha.

My babies were each measuring over a week ahead at their growth scan this week. My OB has never mentioned changing my due date. I also know when I Od. I just have big babies!

No change in dates unless there's a dating discrepancy of 7+ days in the first trimester. My due dates have always gone by ovulation/conception, which is spot on with early u/s dating. Even when they've measured ahead, like my eldest consistently measuring two weeks ahead in the second and third trimester, dates weren't changed.

I am due 1/1 and at our a/s baby measured 5 days ahead, but the doctor said not far enough to change EDD. You will love the ladies of D14, I do and have stayed!
