Pantyhose question

My DH grandmother just passed away, and I'm packing because she lived two states away, back with our families (we are the odd ones out who moved eight hours away). I don't want to wear control top pantyhose because it's too tight. What would be a good alternative, or should I just go a size up.

Re: Pantyhose question

  • I would just go a size up.. so sorry to hear about your loss

  • so sorry for your loss! Hugs to you.

I would definitely go up a size, or not wear them at all.

Motherhood Maternity sells pantyhose.  So much more comfortable.  Sizing up has never worked for me.  They ended up being too big in other places.

So sorry for your loss! You could always do thigh highs! I would just go with none! Be the most comfortable you can be!

  • Sorry for your loss... If pantyhose is a must I would do maternity pantyhose if not too expensive. Otherwise go a size or two up

  • Thanks for all the support, and advice. I think I'm just going without them, we have told our families, and I have a bump starting, so I'd rather be comfortable.

  • So sorry for your families loss.  BTW spanx pantyhose are not worth it. They are super expensive and got forbid they rip (which they always do).  Are you wearing pantyhose to slim your tummy or just smooth out your legs.  If its just for your legs, i will sometimes wear thigh highs.  So much easier.  You can wear any comfy undie you want and you don't have to pull up and down pantyhose to pee  (which we are doing like every 5 seconds now).  Try those.
