I'll try to keep this short. I was raised a die hard Raider fan and I actually cheered professionally for the Raiders for 4 years. My DH considered himself a "Bay Area fan" before he met me but says he is now a Raider fan because he married into a Raider family. (I tease him and say he plays on both sides of the fence). My inlaws are all 49er fans. Ok, that's the back story.
I email my MIL a pic of LO in a cute little Raiders cheerleader outfit I bought her. (I typed the email as if my daughter wrote it). MIL replies back, "you are going to look so much cuter in the 49er cheerleader outfit Oma and Opa bought for you." I don't know what came over me, but this got me real heated and I replied back, "I think I am set for the season with this outfit Grandma, but thank you." MIL didn't reply back. I told DH about the emails and mentioned to him that I don't want our LO wearing any 49er stuff. He thinks I am being silly and overreacting. Maybe I am????
So my question is, would you let your LO wear your rival team's gear? Thanks for listening to my dumb rant.

FFTC: I think it's weird when anyone lets a professional team dictate life decisions. C'mon people... it's sports...
Is there a way to care less than "not one bit" about sports? If there is, that's me.
