Insomnia

It's 3:30am and I'm wide away.  Not a good sign for the day.  Had this problem the last two nights as well.

Re: Insomnia

  • I'm up also. DS has been up off and on all night complaining of a stomachache which never happens. I finally gave up, and we're downstairs watching tv now. Going to be a long day!

My OBGYN recommended Benadryl and that has really done wonders. I don't take it every night though out of an abundance of caution but it works really well. I also sometimes take hot showers right before bed and use some lavender aromatherapy body wash. That works great too.

  • I need to do something I'm struggling with this lately
  • Ugh I'm up too. Acupuncture had been keeping it in check but not tonight.
  • I take half a unisom every night after suffering with insomnia my first two pregnancies.  It helps so much, I highly recommend giving it a try.

  • I'm stuck dealing with insomnia nightly. Unisom, benedryl, and melatonin (my usual go to) aren't doing shit. I spend a lot of time on Pinterest.

  • It's 3 am here and I am awake and starving! Gah! It's too late for a unisom. Now what?
  • I felt like I was up most of the night tossing and turning. This has been a problem for me too. Sometimes even my go to, benadryl, can't even help.

  • Benadryl doesn't do a thing for me, and I'm having anxiety attacks, and I've been severely stuffed up since I became pregnant....help!
  • Mine hit last night, its not going to be a great day:/
  • I have major insomnia going on too! I haven't taken anything for it, but I'm doing my best to try to relax, not drink anything past 9 PM just so I won't feel the urge to pee at night, and try to figure out anything that might be making me anxious. I'm not very physically active, so that could be part of it as well.

  • Oh yea...3:30am is my alone/freak out time. It's become a routine:

    I get up to pee
    The dog follows me
When we get back to bed, the dog thinks it's play time
    He jumps on DH's head
Then I lay there for no less than an hour trying to get comfortable and freaking out wondering why LO isn't moving.

    The End.
