How long.....?

How long would you give for a honeymoon period after the first day of school?

I was wondering about DS's placement but it is only day 3 of school. I don't want to wait till December to change placement like I did last year.

    The honey moon for the bus is over. On the way to the daycare after school, DS kept getting out of the buckles and they had to restrain him to keep him safe. DH had to call the bus driver to get the whole story.

    I spoke with DH last night about the bus. The bus driver and bus aide seemed proactive in suggesting he gets a toy he only gets on the bus rides. I have a couple I can give for DS if he gets bored.

    Then one of the classroom aides was bitten and the other aide was about to be bitten according to the daily report.

    This morning DS was well rested and went to bed on time last night. The bus came at 6:55. I am seriously hoping the bus had more kids on their bus route before coming to get DS. It seemed like an 1 hr. 20 minutes before school yesterday.

    I did complain on the report that DS's mood was because he was picked up at the time of 6:35 when the teacher said it was 7:10.
