Updated: Ear Tubes Today!

Today is the day! We're at the outpatient facility waiting for G to go back. Fingers crossed everything goes well for the little guy. His procedure is supposed to happen at 7:45 (EST).

UPDATE!

We're home and he's ok. He was super cranky waking up from the procedure but is home and sleeping on me right now. :-) everything went perfect with the procedure!

He just went back. They gave him a sedative to help with the separation, the nurse said it should make him sleepy but for a small percentage is makes them hyper. Well, of course Gabe became super hyper and was crawling around the bed banging the anesthesia mask on the bars - though it was a bit more like a drunk baby than his normal self. He didn't cry when they took him away though, which is good!

Yay! Glad to hear it went smoothly.

You may want to make a mental note of his reactions to the sedative. My brother had a similar reaction and he has to be careful because anything that was supposed to make him tired made him hyper and vice versa. So for example NyQuil would make hyper and DayQuil would put him to sleep. It is weird but a good thing to know later on.
