First day for preschool for DD!

Everything went great this morning and newly turned 3-year-old daughter didn't want to leave :-) Phew! I barely slept a wink last night due to a combination of nerves and excitement and fearing the worst about separating from her, but she was awesome! We've had an in-home nanny while we're away at work all these years, so she's really never been away from us outside of our home before and we just didn't know what to expect. Thankfully, not a single tear was shed from her (though I lost it in the parking lot thanks to all these pregnancy hormones!). Ahhh what a relief.

That's awesome! Yesterday was DDs first half day and she also loved it. I'm still waiting for the other shoe to drop. It was way too easy lol. But it was so nice getting that big hi mom hug! Frankly I think she was probably sick of me, she did not play alone once and was in heaven.

Aw, yay! My daughter starts Kindergarten in 15 days but whos counting? Me

I'll be an emotional wreck. Looking for a part time preschool for my 3 yr old son but then i might be so bored that I won't now what to do with myself LOL.

Thats awesome! She was probably so busy having fun with her new friends that the time flew by

DS has been in DC since he was 1, but he got to move up to the "big kid" class which is more like a pre-school class than a "baby" class and he loves it. He's always talking about "school" and his little friends!
