When I ask DH to pick outfits ...

So we really haven't been buying much because our house won't be ready until probably mid-October, but LO will certainly need clothing, so I picked out a couple outfits, and asked DH to pick out a couple surprises as well. We're Team Green, so neutral it is (I chose a white onesie sleeper with a polar bear on the bum, as well as a sleep sack and a package of gender-neutral onesies when at Kohls and JCP).

I've attached what came in the mail as DH's picks. He (being a US citizen) says the moose represents my Canadian heritage haha. I love him.

Anyone want to share some of their outfit picks so far?! Let's see them!

I don't have any pictures atm

BUT LO has a billion outfits already and they're mostly sports or nautical themed. DH loves whales,anchors,lighthouses,etc for some reason so there are a lot of blue and white outfits with those prints. He also seems to be acquiring a slew of "MVP" shirts for every sport lol..he's multi talented.

I've bought no clothes for LO so far but my two BFFs have done quite the job picking out adorable (not pink) girl clothes so we have a small start.

That said, OP, where did your DH find all that? I NEED the moose and cookie onesies!

Awwe that's so sweet. I'm pretty sure if I asked my husband to pick out baby outfits he'd come home with something meant for a 10 year old. He has no concept of how tiny babies are...

Team green here too and this was the very first outfit that I purchased for our baby so will be the first non-hospital outfit that he or she wears, it's so tiny and sweet :-)

I also added a bunch of babysoy stuff to our amazon registry, including this penguin bodysuit (hello winter baby!), and this footie. It's expensive so I'm waiting for the completion discount to order a couple of things, cause the colors are more fun than the typical green/yellow/tan gender neutral stuff that most stores carry. Not that I have anything against those colors- see 1st link

I have bought tons of clothes, being team green, I'm just trying to collect the basics (jeans, onesies, sleepers, socks etc...) in both or gender neutral. I love thrift store shopping and garage saling so most have come from there.

I don't have any pictures of the clothes I already have, but this is a onesie I am so getting if LO is a boy.

@uncharted01 - my husband has already proved that he has no idea about baby sizes.

Last weekend my husband went to GenCon (a large gaming convention). They have booths that sell apparel that appeals to the geeky audience that GenCon attracts. He texted me saying that there are a lot of cute 2T clothes at one of the booths, fishing for my approval for him to go ahead and buy it. I told him that it will take a while for the kid to grow into it, but if he really liked it to go ahead and buy. I then mentioned that my niece (who will be 2 in September) probably wears a 2T.

He come home without buying any clothes and he never sent me a picture of what he thought was cute. He figured he will wait until our kid is closer to a 2T size and buy something at a future GenCon or comic convention.

I think the outfits your DH picked are cute, my husband has mostly chosen sport team related ones. Luckily I love sports so it works out ok. This sweater is one that I picked, goes along with a whole cute outfit. I call it his Tom Brady sweater, my husband calls it his old man sweater. I think it is cute... lol

I have not purchased anything yet, but this is mainly because there is a MASSIVE pile of baby clothes that is growing daily at my IL's house. Apparently FIL has been going crazy and keeps picking out outfits. I have a funny feeling DH and I will not need to buy any clothes ourselves for a long time...

This was the first outfit we got when we found out he was a boy. My DS (9) picked it out

it's a NB size so it'll be one of the first he wears. It's special because my DS picked it out all on his own!
