So
@MissDemeanor's thread about the deep frier got me thinking about using my slow cooker that is just sitting in the kitchen storage. I also have an electric grill/pan that I don't use. I'm really struggling with eating healthy so want to start meal planning for the week.
So what you got F14, healthy ideas, recipes, tips etc.?
Re: Can we talk about food? (Again!!)
I have 'meal planned' for years. But, it's mostly for ease in grocery shopping. Not necessarily the healthiest of meals! (This week has included pigs in a blanket, breaded fish, pizza, stuffed Manicotti, French toast, Chicken strips, and something on the grill) Next week will be all about trying to use up some of the random things in the freezer, because we have 100+lbs of meat coming next weekend.
I have an entire pinterest board dedicated to meals that can be frozen, or cooked in the crockpot. I need to actually USE the ideas I have found on pinterest...

Pinterest is easy. Too easy. I have 3.5k pins. And not many that I've actually referred back to!

+1. Now I am going to try and re-organize my Pinterest boards.

That's when I do it-- when i am procrastinating on getting some things done, or when I am multitasking at work. I HATE having >200 pins per board, because I tend to double and triple pin once it gets that big. I am working on splitting my desserts board into cakes, cookies, candy, pie, etc. I originally had close to 450 pins.

I spent yesterday night figuring out Pinterest and I must say I am bloody hooked!
The websites references are fab too so I'll be checking them out.
Also, I use an app called recipebook that allows you to manually create or pick up recipes from the net and then convert that into a grocery list. It's really working great from me so far!
