Am I going to be stuck wearing a bra 24/7 and for all bedroom festivities as long as I am bfing? Or does the potential for leaking ease up a bit at some point?

I quit leaking 100% a couple months in. I actually leaked more when I was pregnant than when I was actually nursing last time.

I can't remember when, but at some point I only leaked if we went too long in between feedings. Which was pretty much only if DS took a ridiculously long nap, or if something like travel made it hard to stick to our usual on-demand timetable. I pretty much wore a nursing bra or nursing tank most of the time. Which could come off for festivities.

With my first, I don't think I ever stopped leaking, so I was pretty much guaranteed top leak during "festivities". Not fun at all.

With #2, I am not leaking as much after just a couple months so I don't have to worry about leaking all over the bed or hubs.

I'm definitely leaking less this time around. I can go shirtless during festivities. But the real question is... Are you already having festivities? Because whoa.

On the rare occasion we are having some adult fun, I still keep a bra or tank on. I've got a pretty abundant supply so I still leak. DD has nursed pretty much every 2 hours since birth so my boobs will alert me if it has been 2 hours and she hasn't eaten. So yeah, still leaking at almost 7 months PP.

I quit leaking pretty early on. 6 weeks maybe. But things are still crazy sensitive now. Sorry DH, you'll just have to wait. I actually find I'm more comfortable in just a nursing tank than a real bra most of the time. If I wear the wrong bra for too long I get clogged ducts, even now.

Once my supply regulated, around 4 or 5 months.

I needed to adjust to work and pumping and then nursing on the weekends.

If you have any changes in habits, it will be an issue again. He got sick for a couple of days and had issues nursing. I actually had to pump because I didn't want my supply to tank.

My husband just stays away from them, last time he gave one a squeeze I leaked.

Yes! I have this problem too. My nursing bras really don't fit but I'm too late in the game now to spend a lot on getting new ones in my proper size. And I tried on all of my prepregnancy bras the other day and none of them fit. I could have cried.

Yes! I have this problem too. My nursing bras really don't fit but I'm too late in the game now to spend a lot on getting new ones in my proper size. And I tried on all of my prepregnancy bras the other day and none of them fit. I could have cried.

I'm going to make an appointment in the next month or so to get a proper fitting at a boutique near me. Several people have recommended the location and the actually customize bras so that the fit properly if needed.

I know I'll pay an arm and a leg for a couple bras, but I'm such odd size that it's almost impossible to find a good fit in the department store. And right now my rib cage has gotten noticeable smaller and I'm not filling out my nursing bras as much anymore.

I figure if a $60 bra makes me feel great, it will be worth every penny.

Yea, I know. I went to a boutique to get fitted for my nursing bras after DS was born. It gets tiresome to spend that much money on a single bra every. single time. Even just a stupid sleep bra ended up costing me $25-$30 I think because I needed to find a sized one, not just a S/M/L or whatever. Otherwise, the cup ends up too small, and the ribcage too big, and would do nothing to keep nursing pads in place. Maybe that's part of the reason I have a hard time spending money on clothes, since I spend so much money on bras as it is....

I think I only leaked once or twice? And not during sex. I stopped even using nursing pads after a few weeks.

I still keep a bra on during sex though. And let's face it-it has to happen quickly now-during naps and such-so it just works out for some clothes to stay on
