i'm hating that my maternity shirts no longer come down far enough to cover the panel of my maternity pants. you had one job maternity clothes, one job!
Doc told me to try not to gain anymore weight SIX weeks ago.
I saw screw them! We ARE beautiful and you deserve that ice cream.
PS- if you need to give in for the clothing: Target has put a lot of their summer maternity T shirts and dresses on clearance. I saw both for $10 this afternoon... Also, Old Navy outlets run discounts on their maternity maxi dresses
@Alexturnier is that what they say???? Uh oh. At my 34 week appt yesterday the dr said "maybe you should try not to put on any more weight..."
It's not necessarily when you put on the most weight. I didn't gain a single pound with DS from week 36 on; however, it is when your belly grows the most.

Every woman I know that has had kids that I know that makes a comment on my belly says that. And I'm not even exaggerating. Each and every one. Whether they mean weight or physical size, I don't like it. Already feel like whale status.
I've found that doctors for the most part, just look at numbers in order to assess patients. If you feel good and lo is healthy, what's an extra few lbs? Those are guidelines and every pregnancy is different. (As long as s/he isn't too big to push outta your hoo-ha!)
You're not alone. Literally nothing fits me anymore. I'm 33 weeks and my dresses are all tops now and I have no pants or shorts that fit. I feel awful about my weight everyday. People think I'm ready to pop but I have nearly 7 more weeks!!!
I gained all my poundage in the 2nd tri. Now I'm just expanding. I HATE LOOKING FOR CLOTHES! I esp hate seeing all the adorable maxi dresses that I can't fit in to. I seriously can't believe I was so hard on myself, body wise, before getting pregnant. WTF WAS I THINKING!?!?
That moment when you outgrow a pair of maternity pants? Yeah, that one is pretty demoralizing ... granted, the sprout is riding low and pitches a fit if a waistband is tight, but still. I'm down to one pair of jeans, two pairs of denim shorts, and an array of Old Navy running shorts. And my husband's shirts.
Ugg right there with you and the worst part is my rib cage is freaking huge. I bought maternity bras a few inches larger than my measurements about six weeks ago. Then they got tight and uncomfortable so I went back to get extenders. Now I seem to have outgrown the extenders and can't breathe again with a bra on. I'm going to try hooking two extenders together today to see if that works. This would be a lot easier to take if my actual BOOBS were bigger but they aren't grrrrr...
And my belly has grown so much that all of my floaty tops look like spandex. My friend bought me a mumu for a joke and I am seriously considering it...
shirts are my biggest issue, I've always stolen my boyfriends tshirts but those are usually for bed time...its about to become part of my everyday wardrobe
summer was so easy, a maxi dress and call it a day. I'm a NY mama and it seems fall is approaching us quickly, i doubt ill be so lucky since its almost time to switch over to pants that don't fit, riding boots that will make my feet swell, and chunky sweaters to make me look just plain ol chunky
Re: That point in your pregnancy...
