Am I alone in this? I'm tired, stressed, and ravenous from BFing. All I want to do is eat. So worried I'm gonna gain 20lbs more. How can I stop this vicious cycle?
I posted last week about eating healthy and I just ate almost a whole loaf of zucchini bread between sunday and today I want to lose weight and be healthy but I also want to eat all the time!
Thanks @LuckyNumbers! You're right there are a few factors like erratic sleep, a high maintenance baby, and just the hunger from BFing.
More sleep would help, but I'm sure we're all in need of that. Being stuck in the house is a factor for sure. Emotional eating sucks and I just don't want it to get out of control!
When I was home all day I ate all day. I eat out of stress and boredom. Maybe try having healthy snacks around or go for a walk when you have the urge to eat? And drink plenty of water.
I eat a lot to from bf, stress or boredom. But one thing I think is super true is that your body will tell you it's hungry when really it's thirsty. I don't drink nearly enough water as it is let alone what I should bf, so I think half the time I am just dehydrated and prob not that hungry. So I am trying to be more mindful of that

I've been thinking about joining WW, but my sister said not to even bother until DD is 8mos and I'm BFing less. She said she tried it when her DD was 4mos and her body just wouldn't let go of the weight.
I am so hungry ALL the time. I tried increasing my protein intake but hasn't worked. at 10a, 3p, 8p I am starving so snacking it is. Glad to know I am not the only person with this issue. I feel like I will NEVER loose weight while BF and that really sucks!
I just read the book How to Have Your Cake and Your Skinny Jeans Too and it's been so helpful. It's all about eating intuitively and I already notice changes in me and it's only been a week. I highly recommend it!
Yes, please...I mean, no you're not alone. The only thing saving my hips right now is being dairy free, however, I fell off the wagon this week and have had dairy everyday (we're using our freezer stash for feedings). I even made peanut butter pie tonight. I have no advice, just commiseration.
