Eye Color

I'm trying to guess what LO's eye color will be. I would say they are more gray than anything...they look blue in the natural light but mostly gray. Anyone have an LO with grayish eyes? STMs, what color did they turn?

My daughter's started out that way, but they have lightened to a darker blue. Hoping they stay that way, even though my husband has brown eyes and I have hazel (brown and green).

I have blue eyes and DH has brown. It seems hers look greenish most days but changes with what she wears. Sometimes more blue and sometimes more brown.

DH has blue eyes, I have green eyes, and DS has beautiful blue eyes right now. I hope they stay that way!

They are now both brown. For a while she had 2 different colored eyes.

Mine are brown and DH's are blue. But Josh's eyes seem to be different every day. It also depends on what he wears.

DS' s were a grey ish colour until about his first birthday, now they are a brownish hazel.

Eden's started out blue and now they've turned to a grayish hazelish color. I'm hoping they end up a light brown color. Any hopes I had for her to get her dad's bright blue eyes are gone.

DH has hazel, I have green. LO started off with a gorgeous dark sapphire we were both hoping she'd keep somehow - now they're more stormcloud gray with a touch of blue and a brown chunk in her left eye that I'm hoping stays because I'm a heterochromia nut (I have a bit of central heterochromia myself, gold around my pupils). DH said yesterday he thought it looked like she'd have green eyes. I hope so. ^_^ I know I'll love her eyes no matter what color they are, but I think dark brown hair and brown eyes would be kind of boring. $:\$ ">

I've read that they can change through the first year or so.

DS had a blue eye and a half brown/half blue eye. They went to brown like his dads. DD1 had blue eyes and they are grayish/hazel. LO has very blue eyes like me and I hope she keeps them.

Both boys had very intense dark blue eyes at first. DS1 now has very light blue eyes and G has a darker blue so far. DH and I both have blue eyes.

DH and I both have green/hazel eyes. DD was born with the slate color and they turned blue before her first birthday. They're still blue. DS has the slate eyes still.

My 2 children had blue yes and changed to dark brown at about a year. My 3rd are a grayish color right now I want them to stay but they will most likely turn brown. I have red/orange hair and blue eyes. My hubby has dark brow hair and dark brown eyes. My kids look just like him. I just want one to have red hair or blue eyes lol!

A was born with almost navy colored eyes, and they've lightened to medium grey blue. DH has hazel eyes and I have blue, so they'll probably stay, which is fine with me. If they stay, A will be a blue eyed blondie like mommy! ;-)

Edit: So I went back and looked at Aiden's eyes again last night, and they're even more gray then I remembered! Now they're a light slate color, and I have no idea where they're going to end up!

DD has dark bluish/grayish eyes that are starting to turn a bit brownish/greenish in the middle. I am mixed (black, white & native) with dark brown eyes, and DH has blue eyes. She seems to have more of DH's coloring, but it's still a crap shoot which way they'll go. I hope they stay a hazely color. Her skin is starting to get a bit more olive, so it would be a nice compliment to it.

DH jokes (I think) that LO isn't his because of his blue eyes. We both have dark brown. My dad has blue and some of DH's family has blue so maybe he will just be dark haired, 50% Italian with blue eyes?! Can we say ladykiller?! Or maybe they will still change...

I was blue & blonde on my 2nd birthday. I am now on the very brown side of hazel, with very dark hair. DH is the very green side of hazel. Their uncle has piercing blue eyes, one aunt has brown, the other aunt has green.

DD1 is still blue and will probably stay (3yo), and DD2 is dark dark blue. I think hers will turn brown though.

My DD is 1/4 Chinese, 3/4 blonde/ blue eyed caucasian. Right now she has grey/blue eyes. I'm guessing they will turn brown. She was born with brown hair, it all fell out and now she is blonde! I have no idea what she will end up looking like!
