Can we do a baby wearing picture thread?

I have a knock off Ergo and am looking at other options because I can't get mine to feel comfortable no matter how I adjust straps. Anyone have pics while baby wearing? I thought it might be fun to see the variety of baby carriers on F14. I'm leaning towards a Infantino Mei Tai I think.

  • I wish I had a picture! I use the Moby wrap, but it's almost too hot to wear it. I just got DH a carrier for his birthday yesterday. It doesn't fit me all that well, but I hope he will wear it and love it!

    @KatyBriggs Does the Beco Gemini have buckles that are near your arm pits? That's the problem I have with my carrier now, no matter how I adjust the straps, the buckle is in my way. If I loosen the straps, she sits too low, if I tighten them, it's too tight all over and then it really digs into my arms. I think that's why I'm leaning towards a more wrap style, but not the Moby. The Moby has way too much fabric for me to deal with!

  • I don't have any recent ones of DD in the Ergo but I'll try to get a pic of it tonight. I found it's way more comfortable if I put it lower on my waist and loosen the waist strap just a bit. I took the "wear it tightly" to an extreme and could barely breathe, haha. I do wish she could face out in it because she likes to look around but she can turn a little bit in the carrier which is nice. now that I'm more comfortable with putting it on and how it feels, I love it!

  • Oddly, I babywore tons more when I only had one baby. I assumed I'd be wearing DD all over the place since i have a toddler to look after but I've only done it two or three times.

    That Ergo looks mighty familiar @mosaicmoscato‌ I hope you still like it! :D

    I wear LO all the time and have no pictures. So I'll just drop by and say we use the Ergo for out and about activities and the K'tan for at home snuggles.
    Anyone else's LO dislike forward facing?

    @TessyMessy‌ I feel like LO is not very secure in the K'tan forward-facing - or I'm doing it wrong. It makes me nervous! I think she would like to look out but I just can't get the hang of it. I really want to try the Ergo 360 because she could forward face in that and MH and I could both wear it but it's so pricy and I already have the regular Ergo (from eBay) and the K'tan.
    @elf828 I put LO forward facing a few times in the K'Tan.. the biggest thing is trying to stretch the straps out to make a "seat" for LO and really securing him with the belt.. He is OK forward facing for short periods of time but still prefers to snuggle in. :x

    @Sakura0019‌ -I'm a baby Bjorn fan too!
    Though I haven't tried any wraps so I guess I might have liked one of those better.  Garrett's fine in either the Ergo or the Bjornimage
