Will slept for an hour yesterday morning, took a 2 hour nap after lunch and then fell asleep at 4 and slept until 6 this morning. I think his molars are finally not hurting him or they've just finally exhausted him. It was glorious to actually eat 2 meals and not have a kiddo crawling all over me

We are weaning the night feed and moving it to wake-up instead. I was able to get a full night of rest, ran 5.5 miles with the dog, swam the dog, quickly tended my veggie garden and was home in time to feed kiddo at 7am when he woke up. Feeling rather accomplished already!

My manager told me yesterday that I'm finally getting one of my old jobs back and 2 more jobs from the same client who I love. I just realized that I'll get to work with the same contact I used to work with (who also has a June baby) even though she is also doing different jobs than pre-maternity leave. SO EXCITED!!!!

Warning: bragging. Another sales reps sent an e-mail to my manager requested I work on her jobs, describing how I'm one of the best co-coordinators. "We work well together and both of these accounts require someone that "dot’s the i’s and crosses the t’s” and is good with clients. She is all of these. " Made my day. Unfortunately my manager sent her a rude e-mail reply about how he can't accommodate everyone's requests, but the rep and I had a good laugh about how he has no class and its hard to take him seriously.

DH left the baby monitor out of the room, so if LO cried last night I wouldn't know. So I got a good night sleep, and I may do this again to help me get over this cold faster.

@itsStackie - I've forgotten to turn up the volume a couple of times. Best "mistake" ever. Though I did have some guilt feelings after a while. I do think it helped him sleep better since we inadvertantly sleep trained those nights.

I think I shot my wad of happy on page 3 of spam, but for just today I got to run and shower this morning. It was a glorious hour. Also we have leftover lasagna and pork and beans, both delicious, so I don't have to worry about dinner the next 2 nights. Score!

Awesome! I specifically don't look often, so I can have a small woohoo moment when I see how much we've paid off (for some reason it's always more than I expect). For me, however, it will not be paid of in this decade... or the next....

Another: I have successfully accomplished the triple simultaneous nap yet again. All of the boys asleep with 10 mins of each other and set for at least 2 hours. Whenever I achieve this I sing Montell Jordan's "this is how we do it" to myself.

I feel like I banked a lot of mom karma today. I sent my cousin in England my PISA because she only has a single electric pump and it seems like she's going to end up exclusively pumping for her 1 week old. I also spent the day with (distracting) my friend who left her 2 month old with her mother for the whole day for the first time, as she mentally prepares to go back to work after Labor day.
