Holding own bottle

Anyone's baby holding their own bottle when eating? My one twin seems to really want to. She reaches for it and can generally keep it steady if it's light. When it is empty I let her hold it and she wildly rams it in the general direction of her mouth trying to get it in. This is today.

Josh gets his hands on his bottle while we're feeding him, but he has yet to hold it by himself. He's working on it though.

Cora took my soda bottle out of my hands today and tried to eat the cap. I absolutely believe she could hold her own bottle but we haven't tried it yet.

Eden likes to assist. She holds it really close to the top though so I don't think she's quite ready to go solo.

She tries, sometimes she can hold it for a couple minutes but usually she drops it pretty quickly.

Not yet, but she hits at it. She's not yet 4 months, so it's a little early for her

Same as @KendraColeslaw‌. She will hold it, but only for short periods.

Logan can once it's light enough and in his mouth, I'd say about 2 more weeks and he should have it down.

Baby Girl has a couple of times for short periods of time, but not a whole feeding yet.

He grasps at our hands or his bib, but doesn't try to grab the bottle at all. He's just now getting objects to his mouth and starting to reach for things. I was just saying the other day that I wondered when he should hold his own bottle.

DS can but doesn't keep it tipped up. It annoys him that no milk will come out when he holds it.
Also..read in a packet of info that the pedi gave me about random things for babies 4-6months that "you shouldn't let the baby hold the bottle and that the bottle belongs to the parents." That sounds absolutely ridiculous to me.

Aiden has tried to hold his bottle once when I was feeding him, and he did all right for short periods of time, but we haven't tried since. Bottles are a daycare thing, so we really don't get much opportunity to try it out at home.
