DS2 is nearing 3 weeks old. DH wants to start giving him a bottle at night soon so I can get to bed a little earlier. Is it too soon to intro a bottle? (LC said to do it before 6 weeks old but not specifically when.) Also, how much should I put in the bottle? I started pumping after his first morning session. I got 3 oz yesterday and 4 oz today. I don't want to give too much but also don't want him to be hungry.
Re: How much to feed with bottle?
Once he figured on the bottle situation we started more oz. he is almost 7 months and takes 3.5 oz bottles when I'm away now.
Don't forget to pump to replace the feeding

January PAL Siggy Challenge: Good Advice
We started trying with a bottle at 5 weeks and had no issues. From what I've been told, it's a good idea to wait 4 weeks when breastfeeding is established and some of the "dust" has settled.
