This weekly check-in is for 3T regulars to fill us in on their IVF cycle.
If you'd like to join please provide the following...

1. Where are you in the IVF process (prepping, stimming, ER/ET date, etc)
2. What cycle?
3. Test/beta day?

QOTW: Since the bump was broken this morning I decided I guess I should clean my house today, fun right? So I got to thinking what is the one chore that you absolutely HATE to do? How do you split up housework with you and you SO? Do you have any tricks to make house work easier because I could always use them?

The bump HATES me!! Why does it cut off everything? I tried a different way this time but it still cuts it off. I got an error that it is to long? Seriously what am I doing wrong??

ETA: So I copied and pasted the ending but it still won't let me post it. It is saying "validate required" WTF????

ETA#2 so it finally let me post it but not sure why. Is it because I'm using a macbook and Safari?

Good Luck Everyone!

I tried to change up the format a little bit, but I'm not sure what IVF# everyone is or if it's a FET, if you don't mind in your check in maybe updating that again because I'm just to lazy to figure it all out (just being honest). Also any suggestions are appreciated.

Alright I'm still trucking along waiting on FET, 6 days until next appt. Hopefully I'll finally be PUPO in 2 weeks.

QOTW: I HATE mopping, seriously I rarely ever mop but I am today, it's not fun. I do all the housework since I don't work, I guess it's the least I can do, although I would LOVE a maid. My husband does help sometimes and cleans the floors for me but its few and far between. My favorite tip is to use one of those kitchen scrubbers and fill it with a mixture of dawn and vinegar and leave it in the shower. When I condition my hair I clean the shower.

Hey all!

I started Lupron last night, and lived to tell the tale! I was really working myself up, NOT bad at all. But I immediately called my friend who is a nurse and quizzed her on what is the worst mistake I could make and what would it do to me.. I'm a good friend.

Side note: I had legitimate INFLUENZA all last week. Perfect timing, right? Off-season, right before starting injections...! I still have that annoying dry throat/cough, that you can't seem to control or hold in.. it's lovely.

QOTW:

I hate folding clean laundry. It doesn't even take that long, and I shake my head every time I finish all the folding for procrastinating. But, I'm always in the same boat each week... a pile of clean laundry to fold just sitting there!

Are you beta or bust @Buttmonkey34‌? I have everything crossed for you. I have dark wood floors that show up everything, they are beautiful when clean but it only last a short time. I seriously just mopped them without vacuuming them first and my damn dog walked all over the fucking living room while they were wet and now I have foot prints.

@meld42‌ the lupron isn't really that bad, those needles are pretty sharp. I use to also be horrible about laundry too and I'd just leave it in baskets. I finally threw my baskets away redid my laundry room with small baskets for folded clothes on shelves and hung a rod up that way I had to fold them when coming out of the dryer, if I needed to dry more clothes. Now my closet has a pile on ladder (I'm short) of clothes that aren't really dirty just need to be hung back up.

Still PUPO... though for me after a while it feels more like a regular 2ww and the PUPO excitement has died down. I am 11dp3dt which I'm assuming means a home test would be accurate today but I am waiting until beta on Saturday... (This is IVF #1).

QOTW: cleaning the shower is the worst thing ever!!! As for splitting chores, DH is really good about that so we just both take care of what we feel needs to at the time and are able to keep up with everything together and fairly. But we are trying to transition our budget so I can work less... So at some point I suppose I will take on more of the responsibility.

Beta is next Monday 8/25, but I'll probably test Sunday night to mentally prep. The good news is that I got the call after my bloodwork this morning that my E2 finally went up, so while I still have to wear 6 patches, no more blue pill making my vajayjay blue - wooooo!!

Last year I caved and we got a cleaning lady to come every 2 weeks for the bathrooms and floors, which I normally hate dealing with. Out of the day to day chores, I hate dishes. DH does dishes & trash, and I deal with the pets & laundry.

IVF #1 scheduled to start 9/25 with meds. Praying for BFP's for @Buttmonkey34‌ @gsancho‌ & @jencity. QOTW: I absolutely hate folding and hanging laundry. And cleaning toilets/showers/tubs. Other than that, I enjoy cleaning.

Officially in our final month of trying on our own. If I get my period in September we are starting the prep month of our first IVF cycle. Sat down with my parents this past weekend since they offered to loan us some money. So we are paying for 1/2 and will be paying them a small amount each month for the next 3 years unless we pay it off sooner.

Had some lab work done and I tested negative for german measles and chicken pox. Doctor thought my vitamin D level was low so she recommends me taking 1000mg of that a day. Anyone else in that boat?

Things I hate: cleaning showers/tubs. They gross me out and I never seem to get it fully clean.

@wcasar‌ good luck this cycle, hopefully you won't have to move towards IVF.

FX so hard for you @gsancho‌, I'm going to be stalking you.

Alright now everyone that's PUPO we need some BFP's, I think were due for a bunch.

@Buttmonkey34‌ I really don't get the magic erasers but I can never get things clean with them. I must be using them wrong because everyone says how wonderful they are.
