This time a week ago, I was told by a doctor to go home and expect a miscarriage. This morning, my doctor found a heartbeat and said that everything looks great. What a difference a week makes! Of course, I'm still cautious and hoping to get safely through the first tri, but this was definitely some needed good news today! We've never made it this far in a pregnancy before.

Thank you ladies! Before we left for the appointment, Hubs looked at me and said "I have a huge pit in my stomach." His face when the doctor said she saw the heartbeat and pointed it out to us was amazing - it was a mix of relief and happiness. He's usually pretty stoic, but his expression was awesome to see.
