Those who have traveled with LO's

We are currently visiting my family . My husband couldn't come so it's just me and her and has been for a week now. She has always been pretty fussy but she has really good days too. This week however she just screams a lot. She has to constantly be bounced around and if I sit she screams. She's barely napping and will throw herself and cry every time I try to get her to nap. I guess my question is... Is she doing this because she's out of her routine (not that we really had one) or because it's her new personality? I know I won't really be able to tell until we are home but did any of your LO's behave this way while traveling and then go back to their old selves when you got home? She is 13 weeks so just turned 3 months maybe growth spurt? I don't know. I also thought teething since she's drooling so much and biting on everything.

    Could be teeth. Could be personality. Could be that she doesn't like being away. It's really hard to tell.

    My guy was pretty good when we were out of town, however he is almost the exact same age, 14 weeks tomorrow and is doing a lot of those behaviors. So it could be a growth spurt.

    Thanks for the responses! I think I've been in tears 3 times this trip because I just don't know what to do. Hopefully being home tonight and tomorrow will help!

    My guy is 13 weeks also and has been difficult for the last week. I'm blaming it on a growth spurt. Seems like today he is back to normal. When I was on vacation 2 weeks ago, he didn't poop for 2 days when he usually goes 2x per day. Even though there isn't much of a schedule yet, I think they know they aren't home and it can mess things up

    DS definitely was more fussy when we were out of town visiting family. He didn't have his swing, which made him really grumpy and unable to nap effectively. His sleep got all messed up until several days after we came home.

    ETA: Finished.
    This was ds. He had enough of people and parties. The comfort nursing came back when we travelled. Took me a couple nights to realize he was just done and wanted his mama. Poor guy. But once we got home he was fine.
