Trying to Get Pregnant

In preparation for TTC this spring, I am working on cutting out the caffeine. It's KILLING ME, folks.

I have the worst headaches/attack of the bitchies/exhaustation. AND I'm tapering off, too. I was drinking three cups of (strong) coffee a day, so I definitely need to cut back.

  • I just can't give up the caffiene yet. Not until I am acutally KU. Good for you if you can stick with it. I love the action shot of your dog.

  • I went through this earlier in the month....it's no fun!  Hang in there....once it's out of your system you'll feel back to normal.
  • Aww. I know how that feels...you should do 2 cups per day for a week and then 1 cup a day for a week...thats how i did it. But those headaches can really kick your butt. Super Angry

    My feeling is that it's going to be rough enough giving up the booze when pregnant, so I'm trying to phase out a few things early. As you can see, it's going GREAT lol.

  • You can do it..it gets better I swear..I did that a few months back and I was not pleasant!

  • When I went through this I just kept drinking more water... the shakes wore off after a week.
  • I started with half decaf half caf. first. Then weened off. GL

    I think that's the best plan--otherwise you're poor body will be in so much shock from everything you're denying it! Hope it gets easier...

  • I still drink 1 cup every morning, but limit it to that.  I don't think I could cut it out completely and as long as you stay under 300 mg you're okay :)
  • 300 mg = caffeine, not 300 mg of coffee LOL.  Just in case that was as confusing as I thought it was...
