Purchases for second child close in age?

I feel like I'm forgetting something. I have my target coupon, so I have to get it all at once if I want to use it.

The boys will be a year and a half apart. I still have all of the feeding stuff (bottles, pump, etc) and we are set on clothes.

Mine will be 20 months apart. Big ticket items I got were the double stroller, swing, and R&P. DS napped on a blanket on the floor.... can't have DD nap on the floor with DS running around. :P

Other than that I haven't really NEEDED anything else. I got a new Boba carrier and a bunch of girly clothes. But the basics are all already covered because DS was just using them.

I can see myself using a napping place for the new baby more. Logan could sleep anywhere and I didn't have to worry about him being messed with.

I do want to get another convertible car seat for later. Maybe I'll wait to use my coupon and hope for a good sale before it expires?

My 2 are 2 years apart also. I have just bought diapers and wipes for baby and breastfeeding and postpartum supplies for myself. I also bought some kimono tops and NB pants since we kept DS1 naked and swaddled for the most part but plan on getting out more with this LO.

Edit to add bought new diaper bag backpack, diaper sacks, humidifier, and lovie blanket for this LO.

You can use your Target completion coupon for one online purchase as well as one day of shopping in store. So if you think of something later you can probably order it (assuming it's online).

The way I read the fine print it seems that you can use it for one day in store AND for one online purchase, as long as both are done before the expiration date. I'm going to try to make a purchase in the store this weekend (I used the code online last Sunday)... so I hope I read it right!

This was discussed in the the other target thread... I think you can use the coupon in store and online on the SAME day.

I was also thinking of making a registry for the completion coupon. I'm getting a second crib from a friend (and will just use a PNP in our room at first), so I don't need that. Things on my list:

Video monitor (we only used audio with DS)
Double stroller
Crib mattress
New sheets
New diaper bag

I'm holding off on bottles in case LO doesn't like what DS did.

I am actually getting a special baby book for DS to make for LO. It will have photos from the first time they met, pictures he makes for him etc. I'm also getting big brother and little brother shirts.

Some things that might be good to use your coupon on:

Stroller with place for older child to sit or stand on the back
Bigger diaper bag
Tracking system for when you forget where the older one is or they run off while your tending to LO. (My cousin seriously clipped one of the beepers for car keys to her child's belt loop and it worked)
