Blended Families

Re: .

  • Eek. I would let the other husband raise the kid and ask no more questions!!!!!!!

No I'm just kidding. If your husband really has doubts about this child's paternity, then he should ask for a paternity test. He's going to have to hire a lawyer to petition formally if she isn't agreeable and it could take a very long time. I would start setting some money aside every week specifically for this child should you find out it's his. I'm really sorry you're going through this. If I could offer one more unrelated piece of advice: I 100% agree with you that your LO comes first and that you made the right decision to work on your marriage. *However,* your LO also benefits from a truly happy, confident, independent mama. So if this drama sucks you in, and sucks you dry, do NOT feel like you are ruining your child's family if you choose to leave DH. He made that decision for you when he cheated in the first place.

    Good luck. Keep us posted.
