  • How are your workouts going? Still working out but have definitely slowed down the pace (both in running and how fast I move when I do strength training) during the last couple of sessions. Last week I worked out 5 days but will probably try to do 4 days from here on out.

    How have you adjusted your workout regime during this last trimester? I am slowing down. I found a new strength/cardio workout that will probably replace some running sessions from now until the end. I've started having sciatic pain and that is probably about to kill all running for me. I have also started doing 5 minutes of exercises on all fours at the end of my workout sessions.

    Any exciting news? Raves/rants? None I can think of.

  • How are your workouts going? 
    When I get to the gym, they are great.  Ran for 40 min today, still maintaining 5.8-6.5mph, but I feel like an inch worm.  It's hard to be so slowed down, but at least I can still manage it when I do.  Did some strength training, too.
    How have you adjusted your workout regime during this last trimester?I
    I take longer breaks in btw sets, and allow myself to breathe, and I am so much slower during cardio.  Trying hard to keep up my routine, though!  Had my 30wk appt today-  baby is measuring on track, and u/s last week showed her at 3+ pounds, so even though people say I look small, I know I am healthy and right on track.  I am up 15-18lbs from my pre preggo weight.
    Any exciting news? Raves/rants? 
    I had my baby shower this weekend.  It was amazing!  Children's book themed....loved it so much.

  • My workouts have slowed to going on 2-3 mile walks a few times a week plus very gentle yoga intermittently. This is not how I saw my pregnancy going (fitness-wise) but I'm trying to keep my head up. I've gotta start throwing in more squats! Each day is another opportunity to stay healthy.

  • My workouts have pretty much stopped, other than some yoga and squats. With all my issues, I'm just too uncomfortable to keep it up right now. I've planned the workouts I'll be doing once I'm allowed to fully get back to it, and thankfully I don't lose muscle quickly, so I should bounce back into shape pretty fast. 

    I'd like to rant about the pain in my sacrum, since that's the newest issue. Damn you, sacrum! And I guess my rave is that I'm going to weekly massages now, as long as my OB doesn't stretch out my Friday afternoon NST appointments so long that they go over into my massage time (another potential rant is brewing there).

    We have a name, but I don't get great responses when I tell people, so I'm not sharing. [-(

  • How are the workouts going? Good. Just went this morning to CrossFit.

    Adjusted your workouts?? Yes. My job is physically active so during the work week (tues thru fri) i dont go to do a specific workout and just do my physically active job. But i do go to CrossFit saturdays and mondays. Ive had to decrease the weight for my squats and try to pace myself a little better.

    Exciting news? Not really yet, but we have our baby shower this saturday! Next apt on monday next week for 34 weeks. And then we are in weekly apts and at 35 weeks we get another US for positioning and we are team green so super excited to see LO again!

    GTKY: names? Yea. Team green but we have a boy and a girl name that we are keeping to ourselves.
