PSA: Milk supply - brewers yeast

As much as I love the idea of lactation cookies, I'm too lazy to gather all the ingredients, let alone make them. Also, even if I actually did make them, I'm paranoid I'll like them too much, eat the whole batch, and gain the weight to go with. Brewer's Yeast is one of the main ingredients in lactation cookies/muffins, etc. that help the milk supply go up. DH found Bluebonnet Brewer's Yeast and empty gelatin capsules at Whole Foods. Bonus this brand isn't made from the fermentation of grain so no gluten issues. I've been encapsulating the yeast, taking one or two a day when I feel like my supply is low (particularly on one side / the other side is a shower for LO most days) and calling it a day. Thus, a PSA for other moms who may be too lazy to make cookies like me :) .

  • I don't have a "too lazy" problem when it comes to making cookies or cookie dough..  I have a "the baby won't stop screaming when I'm 10 feet from her so I can make cookies/cookie dough" problem.
