Let's Talk Snoogles (and other body pillows)

So I think the time has come for me to get some sort of body pillow. I have a lame under-stuffed oversized pillow that is really just not cutting it anymore.

  • Do you have a pregnancy body pillow to sleep with?
  • Would you recommend the brand you have?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Let's Talk Snoogles (and other body pillows)

  • H got me a snoogle. It took some getting used to and some breaking in, but now I just use it and a small square pillow and love it. It does take up a ton of bed space though, and I'd recommend getting one if the softer cases for it. The original pillow case is kind of scratchy.

  • I have a snoogle (it was given to me by my cousin).  I've been using the snoogle lots lately and the major complaint that I have is that when I roll I have to roll the pillow with me.  I think that I would have preferred to have the Leachco Back N Belly Contoured Body Pillow.  With the Back N Belly model you don't have to roll the pillow from side to side with you.

RE appointment & testing December 2013 - February 2014= Unexplained IF, possible endometriosis

  • I have a Snoogle, too. I like it. Definitely helps getting me into a comfortable sleeping position. I also recommend a soft cover.

  • I have the Leachco Back N Belly Contoured Body Pillow and I hate it. Have only had it since Thursday but so far I ma more then unimpressed. Yes I get the point its on both sides of your body so there is no need to roll with tit you just turn and there is another side to it. BUT the thing is UNDER STUFFED beyond belief. And for the price Ia m contemplating returning it if by the end of the week I haven't found it any better. It doesn't elevate your hips at all simple just swishes all the way down and the contour that is "supposed" to go under your belly for support is so "short" that its just really in front of your belly till your super huge so that portion is no help at all. I am actually current sleeping with it with a pillow under the head portion of it b/c it squishes so flat my head is laying on the bed *smh*
I would not recommend this pillow at all :-(
Which I will say it zips open and closed and tonight I plan on stuffing another pillow in at lest the top portion which maybe that will help the head issue at a minimum, shall let you know how at least that goes.

  • Snoogle here and can't sleep without it!!
  • I have a Snoogle. It did not work to alleviate my hip pain when sleeping on my side. I've been curling it up and using it to prop me up while I sleep on my back with elevation. It's been working really well like that, but I'm sure you could get the same effect with a bunch of regular pillows propping you up. Not worth the $$$.

  • I loved the snoogle with my first pregnancy. I love it less this time around, but maybe because it has lost some fullness and I'm also just way bigger. But I still like it. FWIW, I usually sleep with it at my back to keep me from rolling onto my back, and curl the ends under my head and between my legs.

  • Just got a snoogle this week for my bday and so far so good! Much better than the pillow fortress I had going on. DH tends to steal it whenever I get out of bed.

  • I have a $10 body pillow from the Dollar General that my husband bought me as a peace offering after he ate the last of the meatloaf. I have named the body pillow Amelia & I love her.

  • When I first got the snoogle I wasn't really impressed. But after a few days I've noticed my back pain was gone and stayed away. Not sure if using a pillow between my legs would have solved it or having the full body pillow makes the difference. I whine less, so my husband is happy.

My husband I were sold after reading this review. Hilarious.
