It's Monday!

I know I have vented about my job on here before, but I am officially a stay at home mom. I know it is unprofessional way to quit, but I walked out this morning. My boss wants to give me all of her work while she smokes in the office. There was no respect and I feel like a different person on my way home.

Anyone else having a great Monday?

    The owner offered me more money, but it isn't worth it to me. My direct boss was actually in the office for 4 hours last week and that is because the owner came down. So I get to do all of her shit while she lays in bed and goes for manicures and pedicures. I was the 5th person to walk out today.

    I know! You would think they realize she is the issue. Her boyfriend also works for the company and smashed another employee in the face with a beer bottle two weekends ago and he is still with the company.

    Damn! Between this and what your (former) boss does, you should go back and get a reality TV show- I'd watch it! I love train wrecks!

    Holy shit balls! Did you know that you can sue the company for keeping him employed? It's considered a hostile work environment. They are playing with fire. I think it's a good thing you left!

    @Mainemama it truly is a reality TV show waiting to happen. We are in the oil and gasfield industry. My husband describes her as white trash, at first I was like yeah eh I can let some stuff go and give her benefit of the doubt.  Over the last few weeks it just has gotten worse and worse.  Every other word is the F word and screaming, then she had the balls to lecture me on my attitude and that I needed to change.  But today before I left she made the off hand comment that she is about to give up all rights to her 3 kids because she is sick of paying child support. I was like Really!?

    rshamos It is.  He had a hearing last week, where they took it from a felony to a misdemeanor, but when he is just sitting around the office and laying on the couches getting paid for nothing, it was ridiculous.
