Weekday vs. Weekend

I'm curious as to what others do with respect to wake up times with their little ones when there are different schedules/ activities on the weekends vs. weekdays.

I have to wake B up at 6:30 to go to daycare during the week, but on weekends she sleeps until she wakes up on her own around 9:30. Her first nap is still usually around the same time no matter what time she wakes up.

  • My LO gets up around 5:00-5:30 everyday.
If she would sleep in until 6:30 on the weekends I would gladly have her do that rather than sticking to this early schedule. We don't even need her to be up that early during the week, but for some reason she won't sleep any later :-w
  • Weekends are a wildcard here. Sometimes she's up at out normal weekday time and other times she'll sleep in. Bedtime can vary a bit too.
  • I wake him up at 7 for daycare during the week. Weekend, I let him sleep til whenever.
  • No difference for us. He gets up around 6-7 on weekdays. On my days off (Thursdays and Sundays) he will sleep in and snuggle with me til whenever I want to get up. I love it
  • I might get some flack for this, but... schedule? What schedule? XD The only sort of a schedule she (usually) has is that bedtime is when Daddy gets home from work between 2-2:30am, and that's mostly because lately she won't sleep longer than an hour at a time for me lately. T_T

2-2:30 am is a crazy late bedtime!

  • My child does not understand weekends or sleeping in.

Of course, he no longer understands sleeping for more than an hour either.
