Chick lit recs

Ever since I had kids I've given up on thought provoking literature and given into happy-ending, formulaic chick lit romances.

I just finished another one thanks to multiple night wake ups and need some recs for the next read. Recs?

    I heart new York by Lindsey kelk. There's a whole I heart series but that's the first one. Seriously my fave chic lit

    I'm a romance editor. :)

    For romancey chicklit that's funny and sweet but light on the sex scenes, I love love love Kristan Higgins. If you like it steamier but still hilarious, you can't beat Jill Shalvis's Lucky Harbor series. A few other popular romance/chicklit authors are Shannon Stacey, Victoria Dahl, and Julie James.

    I agree with PP's suggestions of Marian Keyes, Jane Green, Emily giffin, and Jennifer Weiner (although I only like her older books, esp Good in Bed and Certain Girls). I also love Elin Hilderbrand, although hers aren't exactly chick lit, but are easy reads and very enjoyable. I LOVED E. Giffin's latest, One and Only. I read it in 3 days shortly after DD2 was born and I was nursing constantly.

    Jess & Adam, married 2009, precious Audrey born in 2011. BFP 1/6/13, 6-wk MMC discovered at 9 wks 2/11/13. D&C 2/18/13, second D&C 4/23/13 for retained placenta.
    BFP 8/24/13!! EDD 5/1/14, delivered healthy and sweet Zoey Leanne on 5/5/14 by repeat c-section.

    @katsmewsings‌ They stand alone just fine. You'll see characters from previous books but there are no unresolved story arcs so you won't feel like you're missing something. Shalvis summarizes past events quickly and moves on.

    @katsmewsings Yay! I hope you're prepared to miss tons of sleep binge-reading the whole series. :) My absolute favorite is Forever and a Day. I've lost count of how many times I've read it. Love love love.
