Pregnant after a Loss

New here- what are the board rules and guidelines?

Hi all, cautiously stepping in. Trying to lurk a bit and get a feel for the board to make sure I don't step on any toes. Is there a list of guidelines or anything to help me find my way? Help. I really don't want to hurt or offend.

  • Congratulations and welcome! Petra gave good advice on how the board works I'd add to it that there are women of all beliefs (religious, personal, etc.) and experiences (both in life and related to TTCAL) here so try to be sensitive to that. Also, we're pretty fun so jump in and make yourself at home :).

  • There really isn't. Just be a decent human being? The basic idea of the group (most groups here) is give support to get support. If someone is having a rough day, offer hugs. If someone has a good day, celebrate with thim. If you know an answer to a question, give it, but be careful of giving out medical information. Don't do it unless you really understand the science behind it, 'my best friend's sister's cousin's boyfriend said...' doesn't fly.

    Welcome and congratulation!

Thanks, I think most of that is true across the boards. I was wondering more along the lines of things like.

Do I ended a siggy warning since my live child is listed?

I know BFP, but I see you guys posting BPFs with bump pictures. What's the accronym stand for?

I have also noticed a lot of people put their SN in the discussion topic, why?

  • @HailsMom‌ we don't have one for second tri but a number of women have stayed in the check-in as they have moved into second tri. It isn't a problem at all if you want to join. I am 14 weeks (tomorrow) and I run it. It's a nice way to get your PgAL crazies out.
