So, when I initially called my OBs office to schedule my appointment, I was told I would see the nurse on 9/18, and my OB on 9/25. I thought that was pretty far away. I mean, I will be 10 weeks by the time I saw my OB...
Then I was talking with some loss friends who have had rainbows. They thought that waiting so long was ridiculous and encouraged me to call and make sure they knew I was high risk, and see if I could come in earlier.
So, I did. I'm so glad I called! My OB didn't even know I was pregnant, and the nurse said she was so happy she was tearing up! The nurse also said they had been talking about me a few days ago. So, so sweet. So, the nurse said they would like to do a 48 hour beta, to make sure my numbers were going up. So I'm going to do one shortly, then Monday morning I'll do my second. Then, they want me in for an early ultrasound. Yay! If all goes well, she wants to start me on baby asprin. My OB had some concern with my daughter's placenta. There were little clots. All my tests came back normal but she is being extra cautious. So as long as it wouldn't hurt the baby if I didn't need it, I'll take it.
Whoot! No more waiting 6 weeks for me!
