Hello! We are trying to come up with a girls name and DH's top choice is Aurora. I am not 100% sold but we can't seem to come up with anything that we better agree on. I like the idea of maybe using Rori as a nick name. Does that work do you think? Is Rori a natural enough nickname for Aurora or is that a stretch?
Also, we're having trouble settling on a middle name. It has to start with a J and can't be Jane or Janae. Any suggestions?
My labour has started so were starting to feel the pressure! At least we have a boy name figured out!

We named him Clark Jeffrey. Jeffrey after his daddy.
My husband liked that he didn't know any other Clark's and that Clark was also the brand name of a machine he likes. Haha.
Thanks again!
Not a fan, mostly because I can't wrap my mouth around the Rs. And it makes me think Disney. Rory is a perfectly natural NN. DD had a girl in her swim class named Aurora, and her mom switched back and forth between Aurora and Rory constantly.
MN options: Joy, Joyce, Jocelyn, Joan, Judith, Jasmine (WAY too Disney with Aurora though), Jill, Jillian
I love it, the only reason it is on my GP list is it just really isn't my "style". But I love it, especially the nickname. I totally get that Rory is a male name - but I've never known one and I only think of Rory from Gilmore girls (it was a nn for her too). Plus I am not against boy nn's on girls.
Congratulations! Clark is a very nice name
OMG, Aurora Juniper or Aurora Josephine!!
Rory is a totally natural nickname for Aurora.
