I hate the waiting game

in August 2014 Moms
I was 5 days early with my son. I'm currently 11 days away from my due date. I'm so nervous I'm going to go overdue. What do you think the chances are?

    Why would you be "nervous" to go overdue? Disappointed? Yes. Irritated? Probably. But assess those emotions when you get there...in more than a week and a half.

    And also, DS was a 39 weeker. I'm almost 40 with absolutely no signs of labor. So if you ask me I'd say the chances are pretty damn good! It's kinda like every pregnancy is different or something.

    Well, according to the interwebs 33% of women deliver at 40+1+ so I would say that's your "chance".  Also, to reiterate PPs question, why would you be nervous to be overdue?  It's annoying (coming from someone who was a week late with my second) but nothing to be "nervous" about.  A due date is just an estimate and doesn't really mean much anyway.
